| Round
the 4-Sided Test Type
You
know how it is, one minute a
duochrome, next a four-dot test,
then a distance disparity test
and the options go on. Here
they all are in a range of Test
Types that go from wall mounted
to free standing, motorised
or manual.
Refraction techniques can be
quickly
carried out with this unit.

| You
‘eard it from Evans… |
|
When
you’re not using your test equipment,
please switch it off. These days, bulbs
(highly expensive!) run at such a high temperature,
they blacken after a time and performance
suffers as a result.
Here’s
another one - if using a non-contact tonometer,
please ensure that the front lens is kept
clean, as tears can easily cause a mis-reading. |

| Why
our Screen is the best around
...
It is generally
acknowledged that our Co-Ordimeter
Screens come from the most experienced
manufacturers - Evans (Instruments)!
Barry Evans has over thirty
years’ experience in manufacturing
this product.
|
Our
latest Mk V version has all the
original benefits, whilst using
the latest manufacturing techniques.
The two metal boxes have white
translucent screens, printed with
a tangent pattern on the inner
surface - only seen when illuminated.
The screens are set precisely
at right angles and dissociation
is achieved by the use of a |
|
|
|
|
mirror
system. The mirror is carried on a septum
arm, hinged top and bottom, variable at a
45 degree angle on each screen.
Each screen can be illuminated
individually, with the other screen being
lit (for checking the fixation position
of the examination eye), via a pneumatic
foot switch.
Two wands come with the
system, for both the patient and the practitioner.
There is also a free standing unit of cupboards
available, enabling the screen to be operated
as part of an
unattached storage and display unit. Other
methods of mounting are available.
For further advice or information,
please ask us.

Chairs,
stools and not a boomsy daisy
|
|
|
All together now: arms extended,
forward tilt, reverse - providing
both lumber and seat support. There’s
a wide range of colours available
too and the optional features include
a head rest, a movable arm and a fixed
base to stop the seat rotating. And
that’s just the Evans Practice
Chair. As for our stools, they glide
or use castors and come with or without
backs. |
