Norfolk. The company, augmented by experienced ophthalmic
staff, concentrates primarily upon the design and
manufacture of ophthalmic test equipment and the
range currently includes Test Types, Ophthalmic
Mirrors, Near and Distance Tests, UV Inspection
Lamps, Stools, etc. Being manufacturers and suppliers,
Evans (Instruments) Ltd are also able to offer many
other optical equipment ranges at very competitive
prices. |

a large range of the products being manufactured
on-site, the company is able to offer a flexibility
to suit individual requests, as well as being confident
in providing specific “Group Practice”
image requirements.
Established over 10 years ago,
the company is the culmination of over 30 years
in the industry, including 18 years with Hamblin
Instruments, where Barry progressed to Production
Director and was involved in developing the Hamblin
Purvis Streak Retinoscope, 790 Test Chart, Distance
Disparity and Near Vision units, among others.
He also spent 18 months with Dollond & Aitchison,
as Special Projects Manager, based at their Yardley
HQ.
Evans (Instruments) Ltd also offers
a full servicing/repair service to a wide range
of ophthalmic instrumentation.
